Before Hitler came to power, the Nazis established „Sturmlokale“ in the working-class districts of Berlin in order to destroy and capture the structures of workers and communists. Using the WIENER GARTEN as an example, I give an insight into the battles between the Nazis and communists.
The film was created as part of the Urban Habitat Seminar at UdK under the direction of Lilli Kuschel, focusing on an artistic exploration of urban living spaces with Oranienstraße and its neighborhood in Berlin Kreuzberg.
